Musicivic Baroque: Weekend Fest Jan 24-26

We are pleased to announce the return of Musicivic Baroque in 5 performances around the Ambler area Jan. 24-26! This dynamic trio includes Natalie Kress, baroque violin; Elena Smith, gamba and baroque cello; and Robert Warner, harpsichord. Joining them is the New-York-based lutenist, baroque guitarist, and theorbo player, Paul Holmes Morton. They will present a variety of 17th and 18th century works that demonstrate a vast array of styles and techniques representing a variety of countries that flourished throughout the baroque era.

Each performance will have its own unique program making it possible for you to attend and enjoy all 5 of these intimate performances throughout the weekend! Events will include a Friday night salon concert at a private residence, a children’s concert on Saturday afternoon, a formal concert on Saturday evening at Temple University Ambler (Bright Hall), our Sunday matinee series ”Music at the Mansion” at Highlands Mansion and Gardens, and our weekend of events will conclude with our favorite series “Chamber Music on Tap” at Forest & Main Brewery! There’s a concert for everyone and we hope to see you Jan. 24-26!
