What’s happening week of Sept 18, 2022

Beo on Tour (September 21 – 30 and October 6)

Beo String Quartet embraces the breadth and depth available to a string quartet in the 21st-century. By crafting original music and projects, engaging listeners through entertainment and thoughtful demonstration, collaborating with living composers, performing quartet masterpieces in a wide array of settings, and exploring technology’s capacity as a musical and social tool, Beo is expanding the role of chamber musicians in today’s global culture.

September 21-30, 2022

Oakmont, Three Village, Twin Forks, Ambler

Musicivic presents the Beo String Quartet on tour in all of our communities. The quartet will be performing several public concerts in the Oakmont (PA), Three Village and Twin Forks (NY) and Ambler (PA) areas, as well as events for local retirement communities. Catch the program in person in your local community – and stay tuned as we share footage from their performances online via Musicast at a later date. Check back on this page for additional concert date announcements!

All public programs are free with RSVP, though we encourage you to consider making a donation to help support our artists and help us to provide free music experiences to our community.

Musicivic Communities Concert Series Fund (2022)

All donations made to our Musicivic Communities above will support funding for their respective 2022 Concert Series. $12,500 per quarter ($50,000 per year) allows us to fund a musician to serve as local community director, the weekly online Musicast series, an online “fest” and two live concerts each quarter. Our programming is planned quarterly based on the level of funding available. We hope you will consider a generous gift to support your Musicivic Community’s mission to provide professional, curated local small ensemble music experiences. Tax deductible donations can be made at the appropriate links above!
